Plantae Paradise is a small farm where we grow and stock Orchids, Bromeliads ,Ferns, Cacti, Grafted cacti, Adeniums, Succulents and E milii. We also encourage educational tours to our Farm,  and as a part of the same initiative this blog was conceived. Here we plan to post educational articles pertaining to plants we propagate at our farm. Discussions are welcome.

How to produce keikis in Phals

On the Old spike of a Phal remove the bract and apply cytokinin paste just below the node by making a small cut into the stem.
Within 2 to 3 weeks hopefully a keiki should erupt.

Clean the node with alcohol.
Shallow cut to remove bracket.


Bracket removed.

Another cut below the bracket.














Insert cytokinins mix.

















And wait for 2 – 3 weeks.
I will certainly post the results.
