We also encourage educational tours to our Farm,  and as a part of the same initiative this blog was conceived. How to produce keikis in Phals

On the Old spike of a Phal remove the bract and apply cytokinin paste just below the node by making a small cut into the stem.

Within 2 to 3 weeks hopefully a keiki should erupt.

A node on old spike.

Clean the node with alcohol.

Shallow cut to remove bracket.

Bracket removed.

Another cut below the bracket.

Insert cytokinins mix.

And wait for 2 – 3 weeks.

I will certainly post the results.
